In the fourth and final episode of Getting to Know the Network, we look at Roland Duchâtelet’s motives for buying Charlton, his end game. We also take a look at the reasons Charlton were relegated into English football’s third tier. During the ill-fated 2015/16 season the club would once again have three Head Coaches and we speak to all of them as well as some of Duchatelet’s closest aides who helped him make his network vision a reality. In this extended, 50 minute episode, we also speak to Peter Varney, Chris Powell and supporters who formed a protest group against Duchatelet, to discuss what’s coming next for Charlton.
