This week's episode of Afrika in Focus looks at the politically charged issue of migration.
Over the last few years there have been harrowing accounts of Afrikan people crossing the Sahara into transit points in Northern Afrika only to be either captured by wicked Arab gangs and sold in to enslavement as we see in Libya or drowning in dingy boats in the Mediterranean in the hope of reaching Europe seeking a better life.
We examine some of the key issues why Afrikans are risking literally their lives to cross over the Sahara to try to come to Europe in search of what many think is a land of milk and honey.
We explain the hypocrisy of Europe who are vehemently complaining about migration especially Afrikan migration but whose economic and foreign policies contribute to the increasing numbers of Afrikan people seeking to leave the continent.
We critique the macabre agenda of Europe as far as the intention of migration.
We detail to Afrikans seeking to come to Europe in search of their 'fortune' that contrary to what hey see and perceive, Europe IS NOT a land of milk and honey but a continent ravaged by war, insecurity and a cost of living crisis that threatens the very fabric of Western liberal democracy.
