San Francisco drops 3 of the 4 games to the dodgers when the series should have been split. Although the Giants are still technically in wild card contention they are not. The front office has signaled they have given up as the rookies flood the Giants roster in the LA series. As all of this is happening Conforto is not expected to opt into his deal with the Giants which would make him a free agent at the end of the season. But, with all of these changes comes more changes as the Giants director of pitching, Brian Bannister, leaves to go to the White Sox. Now the Giants will have to make some changes to the staff which leads to a big question of what the pitching will look like in the future?
