In Episode 19, I interview Eleanor Tucker, Gang Leader and Director at the UK-based #GangHutMedia, the only marketing agency specializing in peer-to-peer marketplace platforms. Eleanor is a former journalist, advertising creative and media expert turned peer-to-peer marketplace obsessive. Ms. Tucker is also a freelance features writer for world-renowned media groups such as the Guardian and the BBC. Eleanor co-founded RUDE, the first communications agency to focus on the sharing economy.
In the interview, Eleanor provides insights on how to launch and grow peer-to-peer platforms in the sharing economy, including how to solve the proverbial “Chicken and Egg” problem. Ms. Tucker also speaks to the mindset shift that is taking place as a result of the #COVID-19 pandemic. The global shelter-in-place orders have helped flatten the curve have also inspired more people to download shopping Apps and sign-up for video conferencing platforms like Zoom.
