What is holistic business? What does it mean to be a “holistic business coach?

In the inaugural episode of Girl Makes Fire, your host Deborah C. Smith will share her take on this topic and how she came to be a holistic business coach.
The word holistic means whole, so when applied the concept of income-generating business efforts, it can a mean a few different thing.
My take - being holistic in the context of business is about creating intentionally and with respect to the fact that you’re a living breathing human being, with a body and feelings, and needs outside of the workplace. You have good days and bad days and sometimes gets it right, and sometimes screw it all up.
It means you care as much about your nervous system, your digestive system, your heart, your soul's purpose and your energy centers, as you care bout your financial bottom line.
There are other ways to view this but we begin with this basic definition.
Deborah shares a peek into her own journey to arrive here and what listeners can expect from future episodes, including:

  • Creativity and beginner's mind as critical tools for your business
  • Strategies to help you scale from the scrappy to sustainable
  • Mindset shifts for confidence and resilience in the face of challenges
  • Daily habits to ensure you’re staying on track with your goals
  • Wellness tips to help maintain your health and prevent burnout
  • Marketing tips for how to stay connected and relevant
  • Guest interviews with entrepreneurs across industries who have had big wins, big fails and big transformations
  • Inspiration to take imperfect action so you can fail fast and get on with your growth!
