In the city of Boston, the Boston Marathon is considered a city-wide holiday! This week on the Girls on the Sideline pod, the girls are talking all about the truly amazing, inspirational stories that have evolved from this year’s marathon as well as Kathrine Switzer’s inspirational story of how she came to be the first female marathon runner 50 years ago at the Boston Marathon and how that one simple, yet powerful act put women across the country on the path for some truly amazing sporting achievements.
