In this episode I will be talking to bass legend Nathan East. The man has played with Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Barbara Streisand and Stevie Wonder, to name just a few. The reason I've set up this conversation is because I'm trying to speak to as many people directly involved in the legendary Eric Clapton MTV Unplugged album. Nahtan played upright and acoustic bass and sang backing vocals on this album. In the fall of 2023 I will be paying a tribute to this album in theaters throughout the Netherlands and Nathan's story will be part of that story. Just like the story of guitar player Andy Fairweather Low and piano player Chuck Leavell. What an amazing guy Nathan is and I am honored that he took the time to talk with me about this life changing album. Enjoy the conversation I had with Nathan East!
