In the world of NASCAR racing there’s always been a game of give and take in the garage. Money is tight, and people need to make ends meet, even if it means cutting some deals.

Ronnie Thomas raced in the Winston Cup Series throughout the late 70s and into the late 80s. His career was the ultimate racing catch 22 - he could drive but needed the money to prove it. Thomas details his career, fighting for a chance to make it in the Cup Series by any means necessary.
