Starting in July of 1976, a series of shootings gripped the citizens of New York City. Soon after, a man named David Berkowitz was arrested and charged with the killings. Berkowitz would go on to be known as the serial killer, Son of Sam, however, after the arrest of Berkowitz, an even bigger scandal emerged from the late journalist Maury Terry when Terry would suggest that Berkowitz was just a fall guy for an even bigger group. According to Terry, this bigger group was a Satanic cult with ties to Scientology, Hollywood, and possibly the United States Government. In Terry's book, The Ultimate Evil, the greater conspiracy is explored with very strong evidence to suggest a major coverup by the NYPD. For over 40 years, many people, including surviving victims, have agreed with Terry that the Son of Sam case is not what it seems...

As of 2024, more evidence has been brought into this case, but is this new evidence even more of an indication of a bigger cover-up? Mike and Rob, from the Truth Behind The Crime Series and The Son of Sam Chronicles, join Brice today to discuss the updated information and why they are not so sure this "new" evidence is any more trustworthy than the old.
