In this episode of the Go Big Live Real Estate Investors podcast, host Matt Drouin interviews Tyler Cauble, founder of The Cauble Group. Tyler shares his journey in the real estate industry, from working in construction for his grandfather to becoming a successful commercial real estate developer and broker.

Tyler’s passion for real estate started at a young age, and he quickly realized that he wanted to work as quickly as possible. After making $30,000 in sales during his first summer after high school, he dropped out of college and got back into construction. However, he soon transitioned to sales and started working as a project manager for a commercial real estate developer.

In 2015, Tyler completed his first project—a 42-unit townhome development. This experience inspired him to start his own company, The Cauble Group, in 2018. Since then, Tyler has acquired over 2.1 million square feet of commercial property and founded Parasol Property Management. In 2020, he also started his own development firm, raising capital and syndicating deals.

Tyler highlights a case study of an $18 million shopping center acquisition that pushed him out of his comfort zone. Despite the challenges and uncertainties, Tyler believed in the potential of the property, and his perseverance paid off. He eventually found a capital partner and closed the deal, which turned out to be a huge success.

The podcast episode also delves into Tyler’s prospecting process for off-market deals. He shares how he found the shopping center by reaching out to the property owner, whom he happened to know from his childhood. Tyler emphasizes the importance of connections in the real estate industry and how they can open doors to lucrative opportunities.

Overall, Tyler’s story is one of determination, hard work, and seizing opportunities. His journey from construction worker to successful real estate entrepreneur serves as an inspiration to aspiring investors and developers.
