This is Fallon Bowman! She is a musician born in Cape Town, South Africa of Dutch and Indonesian descent, but is a musician from London, Ontario best known for her involvement with Kittie - A Canadian heavy metal band formed in London, Ontario in 1996 when she was 14 years old taking her worldwide. A true anomaly of her time. She left Kittie in 2001 and did some work with Pigface and also as a solo artist under the name Amphibious Assault as well as her own name. I wanted to make sure that we got into the stories behind what made Kittie what it is. I wanted to know what experiences lead to her later experiences and how she had to transition between each of the periods.
Episode theme: What are some of the life lessons of a solo artist after an atypical explosive launch? Fallon says agrees that she has an atypical story considering the path she ended up following and even goes on to say that there hasn’t been someone else who did the same thing yet. If you feel like the odds are stacked against you but you know you’ve got what it takes then this episode is for you! Watch HERE.
Thank you for joining us, Fallon! A big thank you to Prevail Media Group for producing Go Produce. Thank you FACTOR Canada for funding part of this initiative.
