In the first half-hour, we speak with Harris Auerbach (@auerheat) about his beginning in racing. The growth of M Auerbach Racing from claiming family to stallion owners in Unusual Heat. Discuss the breeding industry in California, Unusual Heat's way into the Auerbach racing umbrella. We reminisce about an all-time great guy and trainer Barry Abrams. Also, a little love for Old Friend's resident Star-Spangled Heat.
In the second part of the show, we bring in Hawthorne race course's Jim Miller (@HawthorneJim) and Indiana Grand's Rachel McLaughlin (@RacingRachelM). Andy brings up the fact he was afraid to meet Rachel numerous opportunities. Also, discuss some of the strangest Twitter tweets. The show does go a little deep when we find out that Hawthorne Jim's darkest time at the age of 10 with a box of donuts. We discuss his time in Marysville, AZ during spring training with the Milwaukee Brewers and his start with racing. Of course, not to be outdone Rachel discusses #LipstickGate, all the new Indiana Grand merchandise and her start as a handicapper.
