Cohabitation, the practice of living together as a couple without marriage, has become increasingly common in modern society. For many couples, cohabitation is seen as a way to test compatibility and assess the viability of a long-term relationship before committing to marriage. Proponents argue that living together allows couples to understand better each other's habits, communication styles, and values, leading to stronger relationships. However, critics raise concerns about the potential risks of cohabitation, including the increased likelihood of relationship dissolution and lack of commitment.

This podcast conversation with my Better Half delves into the question: Is cohabitation truly a good way to test compatibility and if not, what is the alternative?

Godman Akinlabi is the Global Lead Pastor of The Elevation Church, Nigeria. He is also a thought leader, leadership and relationship expert and life coach.
