Welcome back to our show, everyone. It's been nearly three months since we've been on air. In these three months, a lot of things have happened, both in the world and in my own life, which caused me to go through an intense period of a lot of searching and rethinking the purpose of my work, the meaning behind it, and how what I do on the podcast and elsewhere can better address some of the stereotypes and misconceptions that plague the Middle East and other areas of the world that are feeling oppression and injustice.

So today on the show, we're going to discuss some of the results of that searching, rethinking, and questioning.

  • Renaming the podcast to "Going Places" to reflect its renewed purpose
  • Shifting focus from travel industry insights to storytelling
  • Emphasizing the podcast's mission to explore diverse perspectives and our shared humanity
