Welcome to the Good Life Property Management podcast! I’m your host, Steve Welty. This is a show for property management entrepreneurs who want to build not only a great business but also great lives. I’m here to help you gain the freedom to live life on your own terms while creating a positive impact in the world. Please check out Steve Welty's Music!

Today I’ve got an update for listeners: All Is Good In My World! I’m going to talk about things that are going in my world for this episode. I’m going to tell you about my partner, Jordan Muela, who has recommended a book called, “Why Making Money is Killing Your Business”. This book really resonates with my business

In this episode, I talk about the key points in this book by Chuck Blakeman which really resonate with me in my business and my personal life.

I also chat about what true wealth encompasses, which is not just making money with your business. Why you should create your business around your lifestyle, not your lifestyle around your business. Common “enemies” to your lifestyle or business and how you can bond with others who have the same enemies to overcome that negative space. Cut through the noise to focus on the important factors.

In This Episode:

[02:30] Three key components businesses should throw off: money, time and significance.

[03:32] Get control by conquering the tyranny of the urgent versus understanding what’s important.

[04:33] You can’t be the person you rely on to make the money.

[05:24] The common enemy, no matter what business you are in.

[06:32] Not being in control of your time, when it comes to your business.

[08:03] Create space between you and your business to focus more on the important.

[09:19] Four essential key actions I can take now in order to enhance my life now.

[10:36] Content creation via my personal creative channel for music.

[11:15] Have a shared mission, not just a common enemy.

[12:10] Three crucial results this week which I identified.

[12:53] Personal affirmations I use and why I use them.

[14:25] The five different “buckets” I use for my personal affirmations.
