Welcome to the Good Life Property Management podcast! I’m your host, Steve Welty. This is a show for property management entrepreneurs who want to build not only great business, but also great lives. I’m here to help you gain the freedom to live life on your own terms while creating a positive impact in the world. Also, please check out Steve Welty's Music!

Today’s special episode will be a little different than usual. This one will have topics involving spirituality, just so you know in advance. With that said, the things I’ll cover have genuinely transformed my life, and I wanted to share in case they can do the same for you.

I’ve been on a spiritual journey for my whole life, and I’ve gone through stages of finding time freedom, money freedom, and freedom of purpose. Right now, I’m on a journey to find freedom from self, and the book I’ll talk about today has changed everything for me. The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer has given me many amazing nuggets of wisdom, which I’m excited to share with you today.

For example, you aren’t your thoughts. Instead, you’re the consciousness behind the thoughts; you’re the space in between that’s actually observing what’s going on in your mind. Isn’t that powerful? As a result, as he explains, there are no problems other than the problems that the mind creates. Let your mind be your mind, and allow yourself to observe it rather than identifying with it.

If you’re ready to explore a new way of seeing life, or if you’ve been considering reading The Untethered Soul but haven’t gotten to it yet, don’t miss this episode. Your life can be more fulfilling than you realize, and the way to get there may not be what you expect.
