Qualifications for Elders

It wouldn't take long for us to come up with names of preachers we might call violent, greedy, adulterous, and lacking self-control. We read news stories and see the youtube videos of these men who have no business in the pulpit or leading a church. By and large we see these things because the Christian church has gotten away from Biblical church leadership or government. Rather than reading 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and seeking men like this to lead us many have opted for the worldly CEO model and it ends in disappointment. So I invite you to Good Shepherd this week as we examine the qualifications for elders in God's church.
