If you want the little one to practice their reading skills while also seeing photos of the places Idunno visits in Turkey look up Goop Tales on Youtube. Rest assured we’ve taken every necessary precaution for the little one to watch safely, this fun video story is 100% made for children and is marked as such by Youtube!

One night, under the light of a full moon, Idunno and his Goop friend Bookatashi head off to a mysterious house that is rumored to be haunted. After Idunno opens the door, he gets swept away to the Basilica Cistern in Turkey, a massive subterranean complex with rows and rows of columns and lots of water. There, he meets a friendly carp named Sazan, who warns him that he should avoid the stone Medusas that hold up two of the columns of the Basilica. This makes Idunno nervous, and when he gets nervous, he goes into a trance and can’t seem to think or say anything except “I dunno.” This won’t be helpful if he needs to find a way home!

Besides the Medusas, Idunno must also avoid fishermen looking for their next meal. With so many things happening around him, how will he ever calm down enough to think straight? Can he resist the urge to say “I dunno” and set his sights on doing what needs to be done instead?

Idunno’s journey through the Basilica Cistern will help kids understand the importance of focusing and being aware of their surroundings when things get tough. Idunno will have to do just that if he wants to stay away from the Medusas’ snakes. Will his distracted mind get the better of him? You’ll have to visit Turkey with us to find out!

This short story podcast will help little ones practice their focus and become more aware of their actions. As youngsters descend into the transfixing Basilica, they will increase their attention span, learn to discuss what they hear, and learn about history and culture. Little ones won’t want to leave Goop World after meeting Idunno!
