Russell Hutchinson is a director of Chatswood Consulting, a firm that provides consulting services to the life and health insurance industry in New Zealand, and Quality Product Research, a firm that provides life and health insurance product research to financial advisers. Russell is experienced at senior and executive management level with major financial services firms, and managing director and non-executive director level with distribution firms in New Zealand. Russell has broad expertise as a director and experience with financial services marketing, strategy, product design and compliance regimes and their requirements for management and directors of advice businesses.
In this conversation, Mark asks Russell about his journey with governance in his firms, starting with his accountant as a business mentor, and moving into a formal advisory board.
