In the parable of the Four soils, Jesus teaches his followers about why there are so many different types of responses whenever the truth of the gospel is preached. Jesus explained that in order to correctly respond to His teachings we need The Spirit, understanding, and devotion. A correct response to Jesus' teaching leads to a life of fruitfulness.
