THE POTTER'S HAND| Embracing the Journey| Suffering for & with Christ| Discipleship |CHIMDI OHAHUNA

Welcome back to this enlightening episode of THE POTTER’S HAND series, where we continue to dig deep into spiritual truths and the word of God in 1 Peter 5:10 which speaks of being "strengthened after you have suffered for a while. In this particular episode, we unveil another meaning of being "settled by God" after enduring suffering. Our emphasis is on the concept of being “established”—a fundamental transformation that occurs within us through divine guidance.

As we navigate the complexities of our faith, misunderstandings often arise. We’ll discuss how these misunderstandings should compel us to seek deeper comprehension rather than leading us toward quarrels or crises. In our diverse theological landscape, it's essential to remember that doctrinal differences typically reflect our shared struggle to grasp full understanding; thus, we must return to the foundational truth of Christ. He alone is the anchor within the body of Christ.

Suffering is not the end; it's a part of the divine process through which God leads us towards a new beginning. Discover the reality of discerning God's work in our lives, especially when challenges obscure our vision and tempt us to only see the enemy at play. Unlike a "Quick-fix God," our Lord is a God of process—transforming us gradually and profoundly.

In addition, discover deeper truths as we unravel the misconception that, we can fully understand God at all times. When God settles and establishes a believer, He transforms them into a living institution of His grace. God does not light on individuals, the Word only lights on nations/institutions. The Bible says in Isaiah 9:8, ‘The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel”. It is therefore important we possess knowledge of our collective identity in Christ.

In this episode, we emphasize the significance of a "certain place" in our spiritual journey—those undefined and unexplainable seasons that challenge our faith yet ultimately serve as fertile ground for God's Word to flourish within us.

Beloved, as we conclude this session, let us remember that God intends to forge us into progressive institutions of His love and truth. Listen to this and other teaching episodes of this series and allow this exploration to inspire and settle your heart as you embrace the divine establishment God has in store for you.
