Understanding WHO God is will define, WHY you and I exist,
WHO we are as persons, and HOW we may most be fulfilled individually and in relationships to other persons, to the natural world, and to our Creator.
LESSONS FROM THE LIGHT: John 9:1-41
- Light looks at the Lost, Last, and Lonely (v1 & Hebrews 4:15-16)
- Light reveals fact from fiction (vv2-3)
- Light brings clarity to our situations (vv 4-5 & John 8:12)
- Light leads us forward into truth (vv 6-7)
- Light peeks the interest of a world searching for meaning (vv 8-12)
- Light pokes & provokes the spiritually blind (vv 13-14, v 34, vv 39-41)
- Light gives us courage in the midst of uncertainty (v17, vv 24-27 & 2 Timothy 1:7)
- Light connects us with the creator (vv 35-38)
TAKE AWAY: God didn’t design us to stumble around in the dark.. but he does call you to live in the dark… AS A LIGHT!
