Option 3: ‌DOING RIGHTEOUSNESS is about Trusting JESUS.
DOING SIN Is NOT NOT TRUSTING JESUS.

John 3:4-10 More Literal Translation:
Everyone who does the sin (rejects the revelation of Jesus as the Christ) also does the lawlessness (breaks the Law of God); and the sin is the lawlessness.
And you know that He appeared (was revealed) in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.
No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or has known Him.
Little children, let no one deceive you (that is let Satan or any one else who denies Jesus is the Messiah); the one who does the righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous;
the one who does the sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning (The devil sinned by rejecting the revelation of God and led others into it). The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
No one who is born of God does sin because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not do righteousness [lit.: (a) righteous act] is not of God,
