This week on the show, Maine and Miranda recap the 10th anniversary show of EBI. We also recap the One Championship MMA debut of Kade Ruotolo, and discuss Mikey Musumeci versus Gabriel Souza. In the Preview section, we discuss the upcoming Polaris 28 card.
In the news section, we discuss all of the recently announced athletes that have been slated for the Craig Jones invitational plus a number of their ADCC replacements. We also briefly discuss the Craig Jones versus Gabby Garcia matchup and her reportedly being paid $180,000 for the match up.
In the One Championship recap we talk about Kades impressive MMA debut winning impressively with a rear naked choke in the first round. Then we move on to discussing the rematch between Mikey Musumeci and Gabriel Souza, that saw Mikey be able to submit Gabrielle with a calf slicer after only a few sequences then we discuss Mikey's post fight interview where he got heated and gave details about their previous matchup and how he felt going into this match up. Plus, we also discussed the face off between Kade and Mikey in anticipation of their match up in September.
In the recap section of the show, we discussed EBI 21, the 10th year anniversary. Shall we run through all of the match ups on the card and highlight Ryan Aitken run to the championship, plus an interesting semi finals match between new wave Big Dan and Giancarlo Bodoni.
In the Preview section, we discuss the main card for Polaris 28 talking Sam Quinn vs Ellis Younger, Helena Crevar vs. Jessika Torttila for the 70kg title, a rematch between Santeri Lilius and Ben Bennett , a battle of the stand up in Yoel Romano vs. Owen Livesey, and a battle of the footlock vs the bolo in Levi Jones Leary v. Mateusz Szczecinski , plus Stevie Ray vs. Jed Hue.
In the outro section, Miranda discusses a recent seminar that she took the prior day with Nicky Ryan, and some of the details he shared about the Craig Jones invitational.
