If you become bitter in the face of adversity, you have a tendency to develop post traumatic stress. But if you turn that adversity into and positivity, you can actually develop post traumatic growth.

She teaches us that her moments of adversity taught her empathy, acceptance, self efficacy, appreciation, and so much more.

You can’t know gratitude without knowing pain.
