A new generation of highly immersive VR platforms has emerged with the aim of helping us save thousands of tons of CO2 for conference travel in the future. The Dutch startup BeemUp is an example for that. In our podcast episode, we explain why ideas like BeemUp could in fact be more effective in preventing people from long conference trips than traditional video-call tools currently are.
