Episode 6 - Jen & Tom Satterly discuss TBI & PTS

Jen & Tom Satterly joined the show to discuss the impact of Post-Traumatic Stress on the family; from spouses to children to the service-member, the stress can sometimes be unbearable. This is a candid and open discussion. There is hope and there is a path forward.

Jen’s book, ARSENAL OF HOPE: TACTICS FOR TAKING ON PTSD, TOGETHER, is out now and is a must read.

About Jen: Jen Satterly was an award-winning filmmaker and photographer for 15 years, spending the last three years as Director of Film and Photography of an elite Special Operations training company fully embedded with Navy SEALS, Green Berets, and Army Rangers in large-scale realistic training missions.

About Tom: Tom Satterly was born and raised in Seymour, Indiana and joined the Army with the hopes of seeing the world and earning some college money, 25 years later he retired as a highly decorated Command Sgt. Major of Delta Force, the most elite and secretive US military Special Operations unit.

"Groundtruth” is for those who have ‘been there, seen that and have lived it’, hosted by those who have done the same. A mixture of military medical providers, special operations veterans and everything in between. "Our lives begin to end, the day we become silent about the things that matter."
