On today's episode:
Q1: What is a relationship lesson that I wish I had learned sooner?
-No relationship will ever look like the fantasy that you have in your head of how it should look
-In longterm relationships, people often take one another for granted because of the absence of the emotional cue that was there in the early stages.
-Relationships are often harder at the beginning than in the middle.
-Most people don’t have a foundation for relationship skills and team dynamics.
-Many people grew up not being raised to know how to communicate properly.
-Step back and look at the progress from a macro perspective.
Q2: How do I get out of the friend zone?
-Make sure that what you consider flirtation is actually flirtation.
-Make sure to figure out whether there’s already a goalie in place before you decide to shoot your shot.
-Have a very clear understanding of what it is you have to offer and then figure out what sort of person you are dealing with so you can determine if they are even worthy of the value you have to offer or if you’d be better off with someone else.
