What you did last night… yeah… can you please show that to the world?

Thank you for calling GIH where we instigate growth one call at a time where we utilize antiquated technology to deliver 3-minute leadership lessons every week day! This is message #141 and I am Aaron Havens.

So what you did last night… We want to see that.
And before your heart sinks or before you hang up let me clarify.

This message goes out to the masses. And generally speaking, most people have nights off while they work during the day. So, it is a broad and sweeping question. During your “time off"… what you did last night… can we please see it?

After a long days work. When you finally get a day off or two… do you have a side project, or side hustle or hobby you work on? How do you spend your free time?

I’m not sure if you have farmer markets, or art fairs in your neck of the woods. When I go to these gatherings I’m amazed what people create when they actually enjoy what they are doing. I mean, I didn’t think I liked the smell of soap until someone that made soap asked me to smell a few samples. Her passion was contagious and I bought soap that day. And yeah, now I want a tree stump that a bear was carved into. And YES to the local honey sticks!

Here’s the question. Do you do things that give you life? And to be fair, it can be your day job. It can be your vocation. In fact, I hope it is! How can you do something that you’re made to do, focus on perfecting that thing, and then letting us see it! We are all longing to see what your passionate and professional at. It will inspire us to do the same. Charles Bukowski said it this way: “Find what you love and let it kill you”. YES. Sign me up. As the minutes of life tick by… I long more and more everyday to wake up with a smile, walk my days with a smile and go to bed with a smile. That feels like me, doing life the best way I know how. And maybe, just maybe along the way… I may encounter someone that gets inspired by my smile and they chase after their own.
