Dr. Liz Fernandez hails from Southern California and has devoted over 40 years to the field of veterinary medicine. Since graduating from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982, Dr. Liz has specialized in Small Animal and Emergency Veterinary Medicine. Following a shoulder injury, she explored acupuncture for her own care, which sparked her interest in veterinary acupuncture. This led her to obtain certifications in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na, and Food Therapy from the Chi Institute.
