Battered Bucks trail Pacers 3-1 as injuries seem insurmountable
Manage episode 415300713 series 2952545
The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their third straight game of the first round in Indiana on Sunday evening as the Pacers took a commanding 3-1 lead via a 126-113 win over a shorthanded Bucks squad. Milwaukee was without both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard (plus Chris Livingston) and also dealt with Khris Middleton and Patrick Beverley suffering injuries mid-game that hampered them down the stretch. Oh, and Bobby Portis got ejected in the first quarter! So yeah.
Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti caught up Monday morning to try and find any positives in the Bucks current situation, including Middleton’s intense level of grit, Andre Jackson Jr proving he belongs in the Bucks rotation now and next season, and … maybe Dame and/or Giannis will come back and save Milwaukee? They also discussed their disappointment with most of the vets on Milwaukee's roster, and commended Doc Rivers for trying to patch this thing together.
