Sojourner Truth may have been born into slavery, but after escaping she continued on a path that would shape the rest of her life. Sojourner was one of the most well known abolitionists of her time culminating with her famous speech, "Aint I A Woman?". She dedicated herself to activism for African-American rights, and was the first black woman to win a court case against a white man and slave owner in America. Roll up, light up, and stand up for equality in another episode of this weed fueled podcast.
