Common ailments don't always have common causes. Many times, symptoms overlap and nailing down a diagnosis becomes complicated - even when it seems simple.

This can be because we've forgotten truths we once knew and are worse off because of it.

As an example, consider migraines. It is a common, terrible affliction suffered by countless people. While our understanding of the causes and advancements in treatments should be applauded, we've forgotten that migraine isn't always a migraine and the other cause for the pain is something terrifying.

Here I recall one of the times I've dealt with the "other reasons", which made me consider the question - how do we know our thoughts are our own?

Presented in 3D audio.

Headphones and discretion are advised.
