Americans have coined the Korean War ‘the forgotten war’ as it was largely overshadowed by both World War II and Vietnam. However, the Korean War is far from forgotten and the title is perhaps best bestowed upon the Philippine War, fought over a century ago from 1899 to 1902, and overshadowed by the Spanish-American War and World War I.
