Cory Freeman – 7/2/2017 Back in 2014, Pastor Cory was a coach and substitute teacher at a private Christian school in Lynchburg, VA. He normally had the privilege to substitute for his high school student athletes, but one morning he got the call to sub for a first-grade class. Before walking in the classroom, he had received word that the kids were as sweet as kettle corn. But his experience spoke differently. He came into that day thinking it would be a blessing. He was deceived. When we look in the world today, we see a lot of people who think they’re living the blessed life when they really aren’t. Out of rebellion for some, and ignorance for others, many continue in a life of evil, constantly receiving disappointment despite Satan’s overpromises. Many do not know that those who indulge in Christ and His Word are the truly blessed. In this series, we look at how to live the blessed life, and how we can stir others towards Christ through this.
