Nicole Marquez is a dancer, advocate and a survivor of brain and spinal injuries. Approximately 15 years ago she relocated to New York with the aspiration of pursuing a career in dance on Broadway. Her dreams were momentarily deferred following an accident where she fell six stories from the roof of her apartment building. She will be performing her latest work about this incident called The Mask of Joy on February 23 and 24 at Catapult as part of our Mondo Bizarro Presents series.
