A classically trained musician since the age of seven, Blu 9 has rocked DJ booths across the city and around the world. And not only is she an award-winning DJ, Blu 9 is also a producer with releases on Tronic, Drumcode, and Octopus, to name a few. She also has the distinction of being our first guest who’s primarily a techno DJ. We’re excited to talk to Blu 9 about her journey from the trenches of Chicago House music to opening for such heavy hitters as Gene Farris and Hiroko Yamaura.
