Currently on tour with Postmodern Jukebox, tap dancer Matthew R. Shields invited us backstage at the State Theater in Minneapolis while the Stagehand Local 13 loaded in their gear.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of tap dancer and entertainer Ms. Mable Lee, on February 7, 2019 at the age of 97. Mable Lee was an American jazz tap dancer, singer, and entertainer. She had been performing since the age of four, appearing on Broadway, at the Apollo Theater, and in numerous other shows.

Lee was the 2004 winner of the Flo-Bert Award which honors "outstanding figures in the field of tap dance", and a 2008 Inductee into the Tap Dance Hall of Fame.
