Hawkbinge is back with no less than two hours of Quark, Strangeness and Charm. Yes, once more our attempt at being concise has resulted in a dramatically longer episode than the last. In this episode: Hawkwind's influence on punk is discussed as we enter 1977 and those Calvert lyrics are the focus of much of the album chat.
Andy & Matt go thru some messages from listeners and choose tracks from other bands they've been listening to for the Hawkbinge Sessions Playlist as #3 gets underway. As usual, Hawkbinge shines a light on the releases of 1977, takes a look at that cover art from Hipgnosis and selects tracks for both the Sessions and Master Playlists on Spotify.
