Merseyside was at the epicentre of the UK response to COVID-19 when the country’s first quarantine centre for 50 years was set up at Arrowe Park Hospital.
It was a case of all hands on deck when different organisations as well as the local community stepped up to the challenge of providing a safe haven for their reluctant guests, returning from Wuhan.
