Jonathan Hoglund lives in Vietnam and serves as lecturer in theology at Hanoi Bible College. Before that, he also taught at Kremenchuk Bible College in Ukraine. He is invested in understanding other cultures and languages, and especially how the church expresses faith in Christ around the world.

Jon earned his PhD in Systematic Theology at Wheaton College in 2015 and is the author of Called by Triune Grace (IVP, 2016). His academic interests include Biblical studies, historical theology, and contemporary theology—that is, understanding the story of the world in relation to the Christian God.

He lives in Hanoi with his wife and four children, where they enjoy phở, mango smoothies, Vietnamese coffee, and getting around by motorbike.
