In today’s episode of Afros & Audio’s Black History Month Interview Series, Talib Jasir speaks with Chrystyan Cross, host, and producer of Tha Monthly podcast, which launched in May 2022.

Chrystyan is a Black woman in her 30s who advocates for the reproductive rights of all women with a priority to Black women who are often misdiagnosed and mistreated within the healthcare system. As someone who suffers from endometriosis, severe Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids & Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) she decided to become a voice for women who have learned to be silent or ashamed of their reproductive issues.

Tha Monthly podcast has a loyal body-positive and period-positive community (CucciGang🦋) and is made up of women of all ages, races & spaces! Chrystyan is a podcast creative on a mission to connect with other women while bringing reproductive health rights to the forefront!
