Nameh and Sitara celebrate sharing show 20 thanks to all of YOU! This podcast is called "It Gets Better." We share about our ongoing spiritual work, happening thru the Path of Love community, and how things are continuing to shift and get better for us. We had the opportunity to see Deva Primal, Miten and Manose live in Santa Fe recently and share about the beauty we felt at the concert and the snotnam Nameh had during the song "Aad Guray Nameh."
Sitara shares about "The Lullaby Project," which she was guided to recently. This is a beautiful project done for at-risk mothers to collaborate with professional singers and musicians to write a personalized lullaby for their babies. We share how the lullabies we have heard have touched us and hear the hope, thru the music, that things get better for these brave mamas and their babies.
We listen to Pixar's submission to the "It Gets Better" project and share about our own experiences in the LGBT world. If you are a part of this community, know that you have our love, our support, our encouragement and that you are not alone. Our amazing friend Bonn Wade (in Chicago) is available to help support our LGBT friends back home and runs a free monthly support group for LGBT youth on the south-side. My friend Steve English is also doing a lot of work to help make beautiful changes for the LGBT community in Chicago.
