We experiment with a more freeform style of conversation and then attempt to do a segment we intended to do before Episode 001 where we rifle through births, deaths, events, and holidays that occurred on the day we're recording. We revisit the War on Drugs, Chuck Yeager, Teddy Roosevelt's thwarted assassination attempt, and the underlying connections between National Dessert Day, National Pet Obesity Day, and National Fossil Day, among other meandering mental associations.
