He has written extensively on Old Testament prophetic books; Ecclesiastes; Song of Songs; apocalyptic literature; the exilic and post-exilic periods; Second Temple Judaism and early Christianity; history and archaeology of the ancient Near East and Mediterranean; biblical theology; and Hebrew language.
