Ever since I was first elected, more than a decade ago, I have made it a priority to join students as part of their democracy unit. Every year tens of thousands of students from across Alberta learn the basics of democracy: from the Greeks, to Canada, and how our community makes decisions.
And, at the end of the unit, I come in to give them a bit of a quiz, a bit of a back and forth, and I take their questions. Listen in as we chat about the incredible thing that we create together: democracy.
