Two back-to-back 8 min skits from the Maxwell House Coffee Time Show with guests Fanny Brice (Baby Snooks) and Hanley Stafford (Daddy). First is "Anatomy of a Robot" from Feb 8, 1940 and the second skit is from one week later, Feb. 15, 1940 - "Tax Returns". Fanny Brice was 49 at the time this was aired. She was a remarkable vocal talent. Brice got her own half-hour show in 1944, written by Philip Rapp and David Freedman... the show ran until 1951 when Brice died of a cerebral hemorrhage ...she was 59.
