From Louisa May Alcott's classic story, comes a radio adaptation of a scene from "Little Women". Sponsored by the National Council of the Protestant Episcopal Church, this series was designed to produce outstanding scenes from well known works of literature with talented actors portraying the roles. It was also a vehicle by which the church got out its message of encouraging people to attend church regardless of their specific denomination. This type of programming was not uncommon during the Golden Age of Radio .
