There is an important election taking place in Pine Ridge.. for President of the Jot 'em Down Country Store. Lum and Abner are the two candidates and one of them will be the President of the store. Grandpappy Peabody is counting the votes over and over again... he is a perfectionist and the waiting for his final count is wearing on Lum and Abner. Tension mounts as they await the results of the election... hopefully there will be no fraud... no Big Lie... no Insurrection at the store... people clubbing each other with sausages and chicken legs and such... and no one will tie a noose over the front porch of the store... nope... this happened 87 years ago when people trusted their election officials... even if there name was Grandpappy Peabody or Squire Skimp... It's "Lum 'n Abner"... This track and many others will live in the "Lum n Abner" Playlist.
