Manage episode 358888317 series 3247105
Cory Sharp, president of HempLogic™, founded the company with a fierce dedication to honesty, a keen entrepreneurial spirit and the invaluable experience of being one of the first hemp growers, seed and consulting businesses in the rapidly-evolving U.S. hemp industry.
HempLogic, America’s largest vertically integrated hemp company, started in 2015 in the spirit of entrepreneurship, belief in integrity and commitment to putting farmers and customers first. We provide ethical, trust-worthy and no-nonsense partnership to committed hemp farmers and industry partners. HempLogic offers certified hemp seeds, hemp farming education, contract, business and legal consulting, testing services, biomass brokering, drying capabilities and more.
Sharp’s expertise with hemp started from sheer grit and determination. A life-long Washington state farmer, Sharp is a Marine Corp veteran with a masters in logistics, materials and supply chain management. He first got interested in hemp as a food and fiber crop, then switched to CBD. In 2017 Sharp harvested the first hemp crop to be legally grown in Washington state for more than 80 years.
As an entirely new industry, those first years growing, processing and sales experience have given Sharp great insight into the challenges and opportunities with hemp. HempLogic is already positioning not only for this year’s crop and opportunities, but future developments in the industry.
The hemp explosion is the perfect fit for Sharp’s focused entrepreneurial spirit, problem-solving determination and background in logistics and supply chain management. And as a leader, not a follower, Sharp is making it happen for HempLogic and our customers.
It is a philosophy Sharp brought to HempLogic as he has built the company, developed relationships and staffed it with like-minded visionaries dedicated to service, integrity and problem-solving for the hemp industry.
